Who else is looking for extraordinary ACT, SAT Reasoning Test, and SAT Subject Tests scores?
Cue to the fact competitive four-year universities have made the ACT and SAT Reasoning Test a major factor in their admissions decisions and merit scholarship awards, it is sensible for students seeking admissions at competitive colleges to prepare for either test.

The SAT Reasoning Test and ACT are not really accurate predictors of success after college and they are dubious predictors of success in college. The SAT or ACT is an effective standard to help in university or college admission decisions, given disparities in high school quality and students' choice of courses. They can be decent tests ofcompetencies and know-how.

Even though we make an attempt to make it otherwise, ACT or SAT test prep is simply not particularly fun.

SAT or ACT prep ought not replace any efficacious component of a high school curriculum or wholesome extra-curricular activities.

Universities overweight the ACT or SAT due to the fact other measures, like school competitiveness, GPA, and moral character, are tricky to compare.

Overweighting the SAT or ACT means students with good grades and from good high schools must protect them by having solid SAT or ACT scores.

Overweighting the SAT or ACT gives a great opportunity to students who are lacking strong grades, or are in less highly-regarded schools.

The SAT or ACT is absolutely not a way of measuring fixed know-how, skills, or "intelligence".

The SAT or ACT is coachable. Everyone improves with training. The only issue is how much. There are many students who have raised their own scores 200+ points after a few months of preparation.
